How We ethically source Irish Seaweed for Handmade Soap

At Clarke’s of Dublin, our artisan soaps begin with the finest

locally sourced ingredients. One of our most treasured ingredients

is Irish seaweed, carefully foraged along the wild coasts of Galway

and Donegal.

Why Seaweed? Seaweed is rich in vitamins, minerals,

and antioxidants that nourish and hydrate the skin. It also

supports sensitive skin and adds a naturally luxurious texture to

our soaps.

Sustainable Foraging Practices:

our seaweed is harvested responsibly, ensuring the

ecosystem remains unharmed. Only a select types of

seaweed are collected at optimal times to preserve our

precious marine environment.

From Coast to Soap Bar:

Once harvested, the seaweed is expertly dried then macerated with

olive oil, coconut oil. we then add Irish spring water to craft our

signature soaps, such as the Donegal Seaweed Handmade shaving Soap.

Our commitment to sustainable:

high-quality ingredients ensures each soap is not only gentle on

your skin but also environmentally responsible.we have always

respected the natural ingredients that ireland has to offer. we never

take more that we need. thats why small batch making is at the heart

of what we do.
